This article is intended to serve as a rough guideline on writing a scientific manuscript in my lab. Writing makes use of artistic proses such as metaphor and similes for conveying the ambience or feeling as the author writes. On the other hand, scientific writing is based on conveying scientific facts and thus should place greater emphasis on clarity and conciseness in order to afford reproducibility of the research.
